CWP Research Projects |
The ongoing research projects at CWP reflect the close cooperation between the Center and the companies and government agencies who are sponsors of the CWP Consortium. The CWP group thrives on solving problems of practical interest to the exploration industry. Over the years, CWP research directions have expanded to reflect the talents of our faculty and students and the interests of our sponsors. Our main focus of the program is in seismic modeling, migration and inversion methods, as well as in improving the accuracy and efficiency of computational algorithms for seismic data processing, primarily for application to regions of structural complexity.
